Mass Stipends

St. Margaret’s no longer has Mass stipends (money offerings) at any time for daily Mass. Rather, we now accept daily Mass intentions either by phone or online without any cost to those who so desire them. These intentions can be for the deceased, or for other specific reasons. You may simply call the office (607-749-2542) or submit the intention online, and the request will be prayed for at an upcoming daily Mass. As usual the intention will be noted in the Sunday bulletin and at the Mass itself. If you would like a Mass card, they are available in our parish office so that you can send the card to the person being prayed for or to their family.

The Pastoral Team believes this will be an even better service for our parishioners, because people often have intentions that are important to them other than simply the death of a loved one. For example, in addition to remembering a deceased person, the intention may be for someone who is sick or in need, or it may be a special or private intention. The Pastoral Team hopes that this service will be helpful for all our parishioners, and that you will use it. It also means that we can have more than one intention for a particular weekday Mass. As usual our weekend intentions are for all our parishioners or for the needs of groups and not for one or two individuals.
