The Human Development Committee is immersed in another rewarding year. Our committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month and new members are always welcome.
Because of your monthly donations of food to our pantry we were able to fill individual requests for food throughout the year. We were also able to provide food baskets for families in need for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. If your family is interested in delivering a basket to one of these families, please call the church and we will be in touch with you.
Your generous donations of gifts to our “Giving Tree” at Christmas enables us to brighten the holiday spirits of both children and shut-ins. Your financial support allows us to help persons in need with rent payments, security deposits, heat bills, etc. We also donate to many organizations such as Catholic Charities, Loaves and Fishes, Cortland-Chenango Rural Services, and Habitat for Humanity, to name just a few.
